Bonnie Davison Singing English Ottawa Workshop

Bonnie Davison, teacher, music therapist, speaker, and founder of Singing English Education will be training Ontario educators to use simple song-games to help turn children struggling to read and write into confident and successful students.

Davison helps educators connect songs and games to reading and writing activities that are not only fun but also interactive. They are a powerful tool to reach ESL learners as well as students of all abilities who are struggling to learn to read and write.

Bonnie Davison, from Victoria, BC, has been using music as a tool for language success for the past 13 years. Davison will be in Ottawa offering a one-day workshop February 1st. The workshop is based on a program called Singing English developed by Fleurette Sweeney, founder of the Living Language Institute in Vancouver, BC.

Part of the proceeds from the workshop will go to the Living Language Institute to support continuing research.

For additional information about the power of song-games as tools for reading and writing success, to watch a free sample lesson video, or to register for the workshop visit the Singing English website.
